THE RULES
WHAT IS IT?
It is a competition where Muslims write and submit poems in English about their Prophet ﷺ.
WHY?
To counteract the offensive drawings and remarks made against our Prophet ﷺ, we are defending his honour on the traditional manner of poetry, that has been used since the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ himself.
WHERE IS IT RUNNING?
The competition will run on the website and also via the Scholarly Heritage Instagram page and Facebook events page. Winners will be announced on all these pages and contacted via email.
WHEN?
The competition will run from the 30th November 2020 to 8th January 2021. Winners will be announced later on. In addition, weekly winners will be announced every Friday for small prizes.
HOW?
Entries can be submitted on our website and also via direct messaging to the Scholarly Heritage Instagram and Facebook accounts, as well as by email. Include your name & email address.
WHO DECIDES?
The competition winners will be picked by a special panel of the SH team and announced on SH Instagram and Facebook pages and via email.
