Historical recital of Sahih al-Bukhari
Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi recited the full Sahih al-Bukhari at a historical event in Istanbul in 2019. Scholars testified that it was the greatest event of this nature in the past 100 years.
The recital was held in the Mihrimah mosque, one of the largest mosques in Istanbul. The final session filled the mosque with 8000 attendees.
600 students followed the full recitation and were given ijaza, together with a copy of the
“Introduction to Sahih al-Bukhari”, a valuable scholarly reference written by the Shaykh for this particular occasion.

Shamail al-Habib al-Mustafa ﷺ
A book on hadith about the features, character and habits of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, compiled by Shaykh Muhamad al-Yaqoubi, in a way that emulates the style of Imam al-Nawawi.
This makes it accessible not only to scholars and students, but also to the common Muslim. Copies of the book were gifted to the audience, and about 500 students were given ijaza.

Launching Refuting ISIS in Malay translation
Refuting ISIS, a book by Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi, has been translated into 8 languages, giving communities all over the world a valuable resource against the growing threat of radicalism and exclusivism.
The Malay translation was launched during the Seminar for Asatizah (religious teachers) at of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) in November 2018.
