Shama’il al-Habib al-Mustafa ﷺ is a compilation of hadith addressed to the contemporary audience. It answers questions like “What was Prophet Muhammad ﷺ like?”, “How did he deal with people?”, “What would he do in any given situation?”
This book is the most important reference on the Shamail of the Prophet ﷺ in our modern time. It instills in the heart of the reader doctrine of Ahl al Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
In content and size, it is similar to the Shamail of Imam Al-Tirmidhi, while its structure resembles Imam al-Nawawi’s Riyadh as-Salihin, presenting scholarly material in a format that will benefit to everyone.

In total over 500 hadiths are compiled and divided into 12 chapters, each representing an aspect of the Prophet’s ﷺ beauty, character and way of life. Each section begins with Ayat from the Quran relating to the topic.
Only the soundest hadiths are presented on each subject, omitting variant narrations and chains of transmission in favour of covering a more extensive range of topics.
