Historical recital of Sahih al-Bukhari

Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi recited the full Sahih al-Bukhari at a historical event in Istanbul in 2019. Scholars testified that it was the greatest event of this nature in the past 100 years. The recital was held in the Mihrimah mosque, one of the largest mosques in Istanbul. The final session filled the mosque with 8000 attendees.

600 students followed the full recitation and were given ijaza, together with a copy of the “Introduction to Sahih al-Bukhari”, a valuable scholarly reference written by the Shaykh for this particular occasion. This book was later gifted in PDF format.

Shamail al-Habib al-Mustafa ﷺ

A book on hadith about the features, character and habits of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, compiled by Shaykh Muhamad al-Yaqoubi, in a way that emulates the style of Imam al-Nawawi.

This makes it accessible not only to scholars and students, but also to the common Muslim.

About 500 students were given ijaza.

Copies of the book were gifted to the students, and the books was also gifted generally in PDF format.

Celebrating the Prophet ﷺ

In a series of four live sessions, Shaykh al-Yaqoubi was reading and commenting on his book “The Moroccan Revelations”, a captivating poem in praise of the Prophet ﷺ, putting into practice his device “The response to slander is praise“.

MAURITIUS TOUR

In February 2020. Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi toured the island of Mauritius, teaching the Sunnah, giving advice to the Muslim community, and leading dhikr in the mosques.

Refuting ISIS Lecture

In a seminal lecture at the Zaytuna College, the Shaykh presented his book, and addressed many contemporary issues on which Muslims from East to West are in need of scholarly guidance.

Launching Refuting ISIS in Malay

The Malay translation of Refuting ISIS was launched during the Seminar for Asatizah (religious teachers) at of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) in November 2018.
