SHAMA'IL AL HABIB AL-mUSTAFA

A UNIQUE PROJECT

Shama’il al-Habib al-Mustafa is a hadith collection compiled by Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi. It was published as a book in 2017 and recited by the author in Istanbul 2019. This recital was filmed and edited into a series of 36 short videos, provided with subtitles in English, and released for free in Rabi al-Awwal 1442 (2020).

This production is part of the Scholarly Heritage Media project.

HADITH rECITAL

Birmingham. The author, Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi, first recited his book in Birmingham in 2017, while translating and giving brief comments in English.

Istanbul.He then recited it again in Istanbul in 2019, where it was filmed.

Ijaza and book gifts Students attending the recital, live in Istanbul or online, were given ijaza by the Shaykh, who also gifted many copies of the book to scholars and students.

A video was produced, based on the Istanbul recital, and edited into a series of short videos. SHAMAIL HADITH RECITAL

Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi is reciting the hadiths he compiled in his book Shamail al-Habib al-Mustafa ﷺ. The series of thirty-six episodes was released daily during the month of Rabi al-Awwal 1442 AH | October 2020.
