One year with Scholarly Heritage
ONE YEAR WITH
SCHOLARLY HERITAGE
Alhamdu li-Allah
It is now one year since we launched the Scholarly Heritage Association. It has been an eventful year, during which we have grown in many different dimensions – by the tawfiq of Allah. We have been entrusted to organize and finance several great projects and events, translate and edit works of Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi, and promote them to reach a wider audience. In this process, we have also grown and matured as an organisation, developed new skills, established internal processes to maintain and raise the quality of our work.
We thank you for all your support – donations, volunteering efforts, moral support and encouragement. May Allah be pleased with you and with us, guard and increase the purity of our intentions and grant us tawifiq!
Below are some highlights from our first year of activity – may it inspire you to continue supporting us! Enjoy! Download PDF

CELEBRATING THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD ﷺ
In defence of his honour
When slanders were publicly thrown at our beloved Prophetﷺ, Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi replied with the maxim: “Our response to slander is praise,” thereby diverting angry reactions and channeling them into an act of love.
And the Shaykh immediately put it into action by offering a series of livestream programs, presenting one of his most eloquent and penetrating poems, namely The Moroccan Revelations, under the title, “Celebrating the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
From the live streams we extracted some highlights and circulated them as short clips on social media, in order to raise interest for the programme.

MORE TRANSLATIONS & VIDEOS
Over the year, Scholarly Heritage has produced a number of videos, translations and subtitles for works of Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi, such as his New Year poem and The mother, the speech about Imam Ahmad Alawi and many others.
We thank Allah for this year in the service of one of His scholars and knowers, members of the Family of His most beloved Prophet ﷺ. We pray that it be accepted from us, and that we may be allowed to continue with ever increasing energy and refined skills – by His tawfiq and by the honor of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ – may He send endless prayers and salutations upon him.
