Shamail al-Habib al-Mustafa is a hadith collection compiled by Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi. It was published as a book in 2017 and recited by the author in Istanbul 2019. This recital was filmed and edited into a series of 36 short videos, provided with subtitles in English, and released for free in Rabi al-Awwal 1442 (2020). This production is part of the Scholarly Heritage Media project.

It is one of the works that are recommended; the person who practices it is rewarded and the person who abstains from it is not punished. However, it becomes obligatory if the government or one’s parents command it, or if people are in need of it in order to plant the love for the Prophet ﷺ in their hearts, particularly children.
